Our team
Playkraft was founded by Darren, who brings over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. For more than 10 years, Darren has been dedicated to delivering design and construction services specifically for the childcare and school sectors. He is a Level 3 Playground Comprehensive Safety Inspector and has held a QBCC Builder’s Licence for Structural Landscaping for over 20 years, providing a strong foundation of technical expertise and compliance knowledge.
Darren is joined by long-term colleague Aaron, who has over 17 years of construction experience and is a licensed carpenter. Aaron’s practical, on-site expertise ensures projects are delivered with precision, durability, and attention to detail.
The final piece of the puzzle came together in 2026, when Ciara joined the team. Ciara is a qualified Project Manager and Designer, with over 6 years’ experience in construction and more than 3 years as a Senior Project Officer delivering government capital works projects. Her experience strengthens Playkraft’s capability in project delivery, design coordination, and stakeholder management.Our Approach
